This is a
swimming deck constructed for the Belize Audubon Society
in The Guanacaste National Park.
The stairs and deck were completed underwater recently
due to heavy flooding of the river after several
back to back tropical waves dumped rain on Belize.
The deck withstood complete submergence
in the fast flowing river for over a week - with no problems.
